Grapes: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaking:
Rosado wine made mainly from Merlot, with lesser amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon from a meticulous selection of our best vineyards of Salas Altas. Cuvee made only from the "bleeding" from our best grapes (free run juice only is used to make this wine, a high quality Rosado!).
The grapes, at the optimum point of ripeness, are macerated for several hours to extract rich red fruit aromas that characterize our wine. After being cleaned and then fermented statically at mild temperatures to preserve the fruit as the main characteristic of the wine on the nose which, along with a good feel on the palette, result in a wine with an attractive balance.
Tasting Notes:
Crystalline appearance, raspberry red and with beautiful blue flashes.
On the nose, it is a dense, fruity wine with clear aromas reminiscent of strawberries, sour candy, fresh red fruit and combined with floral nuances.
On the palette it is tasty, fresh and "spacious" with good fruit character; the acidity is well integrated and balanced highlighting its structure, power and "creamyness".
